The Surrey Centre for Law and Philosophy invites you to a Virtual Hart Seminar by Mark McBride (NUS), on the 'tracking theory' of rights.
The Surrey Centre for Law and Philosophy invites you to an online seminar to be delivered by Mark McBride (NUS). In his talk, McBride will present his own novel hybrid theory of (claim-)rights, the Tracking Theory of rights, along with the broader project of which the theory forms a part. Pre-reading is optional (but recommended) – the paper and a handout are accessible HERE. Please note that for this seminar we meet 11-1pm UK time, instead of the usual 4-6pm.
The Zoom meeting will begin at 11:00 (UK time) on 30 Sept – you can access it at that time by clicking HERE. The link will also be sent out to registered participants a few hours before the seminar.
(If you have any problems registering through Eventbrite, please simply click the link above at the time of the event.)
(Wednesday) 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
