Monday, Dec 4, 4-6pm, we have an SCLP seminar with Amie Thomasson (Dartmouth), on metaethics and the functions of moral language. In her paper, Prof Thomasson argues that starting with questions about linguistic functions of such language can show us that certain metaphysical questions about morality are misguided.
