We are pleased to welcome Professor Douglas Husak, who will present: ‘What’s Legal About Legal Moralism?’ This is an optional pre-read seminar. Registered attendees will receive the paper by email one week prior to the event.
Douglas Husak is a Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University. His research primarily focuses on the intersection of moral philosophy and criminal law, with a special interest in drug policy. His publications include Drugs and Rights (Cambridge, 1992); Overcriminalization (Oxford, 2008); and Philosophy of Criminal Law: Selected Essays (2010). He is currently working on a book titled Ignorance of Law and serves as editor-in-chief of Criminal Law and Philosophy.
